  • What happened to Xanga?

It used to be that EVERYONE was blogging on Xanga.  My Xanga subscription digests that come to my email used to come DAILY and often be very long with all the blogs.  Now, there are maybe about 5 people who seem to regularly blog on here.  Interesting.

Now, it because other sites are better, or is it because people's lives have gotten busier?

I know for myself that I can't get online as often as I used to...  and when I do have extra time, I'm usually catching up with people via Facebook.  The difference there is that you don't get regular written updates from people.  Instead, you look around to see if their "relationship status" has changed or if they've posted pictures recently.

Also, keeping up with people online has become less exciting to me.  I'd much rather get together with friends or chat with them over the phone....

For those of you still reading Xanga, what do you think?  Do you miss written updates?  Do you even read them?  Have you gone to a different networking website instead?

    Just wondering.

  • SATURDAY...

... is the big day!  Holy cow.  Crazy.

I don't think there is any time-efficient way to sum up the myriad of different feelings and thoughts going through my mind as I prepare for the wedding and for marriage.  It's the most exciting thing ever, but it can also be pretty intimidating.  One, just to plan such a huge event for so many people.  Two, trying to wrap my mind around what it's like to be married.
Let's just say that I can't do either well without God's help.  Good thing He's always around :)

Oh, and He is insisting that I trust Him and not know all the details....  every weather website I look at for Saturday tells me something different, and it keeps changing!
